IPI is able to arrange a variety of accommodation options throughout Australia. We ensure that your accommodation is suitably located to your internship company with accessible public transport options.

This is a safe and affordable accommodation arrangement for students. Students stay with an Australian family or host who provide them with their own bedroom. Accommodation in homestay is a wonderful opportunity for cultural immersion through daily interaction & conversation with the family. Homestay is a great way to get to know about daily Australian life.
Breakfast and dinner are usually provided 7 days a week, and lunch only on Saturday and Sunday if you are at home. No extra costs for utilites or internet access. Homestay is not a hotel. There are no lock-in contracts or bond. There is a minimum 4 week stay with the option to extend. On-the-ground support if needed & a 24/7 critical incident hotline. Your internship location & interests will be considered when matching you with a suitable host family who have had a background check & their homes inspected for their suitablility.
This option provides you with a private room either at a shard house or at a family but does not include any meals but access to cooking facilities
After a long flight to another continent, it helps to know that there is someone welcoming you with a sign at the airport to take you to your accommodation. We are happy to arrange to pick up and drop you off for you.
IPI is able to arrange a business English course to ensure you are well prepared and confident with your English level to be able to communicate smoothly during your internship. This is also a great opportunity to meet people from other countries and make new friends before starting your internship.
Intern are required to have sufficient insurance cover under a travel policy including Medical and accident cover as well as for Personal Liability Insurance
Personal Liability Insurance covers an intern if they are found to be legally responsible for personal injury to a third party or responsible for damage to their property including the host company.
Interns that are Australian residents will be covered for medical insurance through Medicare.
Interns are not employees, do not receive a wage, and therefore are not eligible for workers compensation. We provide numerous insurance options and can ensure you have the right cover while in Australia.
We offer free advice and templated for your cover letter and letter of motivation and ensure it looks good and is free of mistakes.
